XJUS-5.5 Cantilever Beam Impact Testing Machine
It is mainly used for the determination of impact toughness of
non-metallic materials such as rigid plastics, reinforced nylon,
FRP, ceramics, cast stone, and electrical insulating materials.
Ideal test equipment for chemical industry, scientific research

and professional manufacturers' laboratories.
The product uses color touch screen display, the operation is
simple and clear, the single board machine control, stable and
reliable, with automatic energy loss correction function, the
experimental results are automatically calculated, and the test
results can be printed by a micro printer. The host can be
connected to the PC to export and edit the print. It can also be
connected to the notch depth measuring instrument. The notch depth
measuring instrument can accurately transmit the outer dimensions
of the sample to the host to save the data and improve the accuracy
of the experimental results.
The pendulum with known energy is used to impact the sample
supported by the vertical cantilever beam, and the energy absorbed
by the sample is measured. The impact line is fixed to the sample
holder. For the notched sample, the impact line to the notch center
line is Fixed distance. The test machine shall be of the pendulum
type and consist of the main components such as the pendulum, the
sample holder, the energy indicating mechanism and the body, which
can show the impact energy absorbed during the destruction of the

the impact energy absorbed by the unnotched specimen during the
cantilever impact and the original cross-sectional area of the
specimen, expressed as KJ/m2.
Notched specimen cantilever beam impact strength: The ratio of the
impact energy absorbed by the notched specimen during the impact
failure of the cantilever beam to the original cross-sectional area
of the specimen at the notch, expressed in KJ/m2.
